SOFA LA abandoned sofas of Los Angeles

Perhaps the source of my fascination. A couch we threw away when I was a kid. I watched the garbagemen (as we called them then) put the entire couch into the back of the truck. The truck then ate the couch. This is a picture of my sister and brother playing on the couch for a final time.
